Hi UK Twitter friends. I'm listening to BBC R4 PM programme: shocked. Here in Spain, we have no shortages at all of: food, beer, petrol, diesel, CO2, HGV drivers, sunshine, Rioja, EU benefits, freedom of movement. In fact, we have no shortages of anything that we've always had.
Sending solidarity to all those hefting burdens of care through the swamps of uncertainy, the exhaustion of grief, the repeated PCR tests, the dragging anxiety that comes when everything is just too much. Given I’m 44, and I only really started reading poetry in earnest 2 years ago, and I can only take in 2-3 poems at a time because brain is mostly full, how am I going to read all the poems before I die? This is what I’m going to put on my application for life-extending therapies.

One of the saddest things about human interaction is that some people have been conditioned to regard niceness as weakness. We need a bit of more evolution to fix this!
