#Together has been the best show on BBC 2 This year. Laughed and cried and laughed again. Brilliantly acted by James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan. Those who gave up have really missed out.
"Dramatically speaking, nobody's talking about the pandemic. A lot of companies have decided not to make Covid material. If we all die aliens will never know there was a pandemic"
James McAvoy's new film

Well done. Really, that was so well done. Sharon Horgan and James McAvoy were both superb but, Ms Horgan's monologue on the Government's scandalous, neglectful mishandling of the care home coronavirus crisis was utterly heartbreaking. Brilliant.
Actually feel sorry for the folk that don’t get, outstanding writing and wonderful acting

I wasn't going to watch but its brilliant. Utterly brilliant writing, performances, staging. Too honest for some people i suspect. Congratulations to everyone involved. Can't imagine how hard that was to film. It was hard enough to watch
The style of
#Together - particularly the initial overlapping talking heads - might be divisive, but I thought it was excellent.
Two fabulous performances of razor sharp dialogue, deliberately frenetic at times to contrast the moments of quiet but equally savage reflection.
